Kerala Law Entrance Examination

Kerala Law Entrance Examination, for graduate and post-graduate courses in various government law colleges in Kerala, is conducted by the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations, Thiruvananthapuram. The admission to the various courses . i.e the 5 year L.L.B course, 3 year L.L.B course and 2 year L.L.M course, is based on the rank of the candidate in the entrance examination. For being eligible to appear for the exams a candidate has to fulfill certain eligibility criteria  as notified by the entrance commissioner from time to time.

Entrance Examination for Admission for Five Year LL.B

1. Colleges: Government Law Colleges at Thiruvananthapuram, Ernakulam, Thrissur and Kozhikode.

2. Eligibility: Indian citizen of Kerala Origin and should complete 17 years


ii) Higher Secondary Examination or any other Examination recognized b the Universities in Kerala as equivalent with 40% marks. SC/ST category should have qualifying examination are also eligible to apply. They should produce the pass certificate of the Qualifying Examination are also eligible to apply. They should produce the pass certificate of the Qualifying Examination at the time of Admission.

3. Entrance Examination: The Entrance Examination will be conducted at Thiruvananthapuram, Ernakulam, Thrussur and Kozhikode. It will be of 3 hours duration consisting of 200 Objective Type Questions covering General Knowledge, English and Aptitude for Legal Studies.

4. Application forms: Can be downloaded from the official website of Commissioner for Entrance Examinations, http://www.cee-kerala.org . Duly filled Application form should be accompanied by Application fee as Demand Draft Rs.600/- (for General Category) or Rs.300/- (for SC/ST Category and Children of inter-caste couples with father or mother belonging to SC/ST, who are not eligible for SC/ST reservation) taken in favour of Commissioner for Entrance Examinations, payable at Trivandrum.

5. Submission of Application: To the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations, Housing Board Buildings, Santhi Nagar, Thiruvananthapuram  695001.

5. The Entrance Examination and subsequent allotment of seats will be based on the various provisions laid down in the prospectus, approved by government and available in the official website: http://www.cee-kerala.org Refer to the Prospecuts before submitting applications.
