Introduction
A State Entrance Examination (SEE) is conducted by Uttar Pradesh Technical University, Lucknow for admission to Degree courses in Engineering/Architecture/ Postgraduate courses and MCA of state Government, Govt. aided and private unaided institutions affiliated to U.P. Technical University, Lucknow along with some other Universities of Uttar Pradesh.
Eligibility:Candidates having passed the 10+2 standard or equivalent is eligible for the State Entrance Exam. The candidates appearing in the final examination may also appear in the Entrance Examination.
Subject combination required in the qualifying examination for admission to B.Tech.: Physics & Chemistry/Maths, B.Tech. (Agri. Engg.) : Physics & Chemistry/Maths, B.Tech. (Agri. Engg.) : AG I & AG II/AG III., B.Arch.: Math/Aptitude Test (Arch). Candidates seeking admission to B.Arch., must have passed 10+2 with more than 50% marks in aggregate with Mathematics as subject of examination.
Pattern of Examination: SEE consists objective type questions except Drawing Aptitude Test. Papers & Subjects in the Entrance Examination:

Application Procedure: Application forms and Information Brochure may be purchased during January/Febraury from the branches of Allahabad Bank at all Distt. Headquaters & Govt. funded Engineering Institutions/Private Engg. Institutions of Uttar Pradesh. The application form may also be obtained by post from the Registrar, SEE-UPTU, U.P. Technical University, I.E.T. campus, Sitapur Road, Lucknow.
